Liechtenstein: Self-Driving Audio Tour Through Alpine Villages

Erről az élményről
This self-driving audio tour introduces Liechtenstein through its villages, mountain landscapes, and civic landmarks. It is a great fit if you are visiting for the first time and want a clear, scenic route with local character, from castle views to high valley panoramas.
Your journey begins in Balzers, at the southern edge of the country, where the broad Rhine Valley and the hilltop silhouette of Gutenberg Castle set the scene. From there, you travel north through Triesen, climb toward the slopes around Bergbahnen Malbun AG and Triesenberg, then descend into Vaduz, the capital. The route continues past Schaan-Vaduz station and on to the quieter northern communities of Planken, Gamprin, Eschen, Mauren, Schellenberg, and finally Ruggell.
Along the way, you will notice how quickly Liechtenstein changes in scale and mood: vineyard slopes, church spires, tidy village centers, forested heights, and open lowland near the river. The most memorable moments include seeing castle towers above the valley, looking out over alpine ridges near Malbun, passing through Vaduz beneath the princely castle, and ending in the peaceful northern plain where the country feels wide and unexpectedly serene.
